Job Purpose: We are currently seeking a talented, self-starter for a full-time Relationship Manager, based in Austin Texas, who will be focused on acquiring new business throughout the designated territory and vertical.
Primary duties & responsibilities:
This Relationship Manager position is for an experienced, career minded sales professional with a successful background in achieving inside sales goals. This position will be an integral part in growing our business by developing new business and establishing strong customer relationships to provide in-depth customer technology solutions. This candidate should have an acquisition mindset and be a top 5% performer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop a territory sales plan with your outside Relationship Executive and business strategy to grow customer base within your territory
- Achieve sales objectives
- Continue our company's tradition of positive customer service and build customer loyalty
- Partner and leverage our vendor and distribution channel relationships to ensure best value and support for our customers
- Work with internal departments to ensure customer transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
- Fully understand ARC contracts to ensure compliance
- Work with sales management to develop relationships with key vendor partners in territory
- Make outbound calls to present our organization's value proposition to existing and prospective clients to close
Knowledge and Skill:
- Experience selling in the technology industry preferred
- Prior channel sales experience preferred, but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving, organizational, and team working skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
Work experience requirements:
- Minimum 3 years inside sales experience
Education & Certification Requirements:
- College Diploma/University Degree or related field or equivalent combination of formal education and directly related experience is required.
